Soham use to watch YouTube videos on iPad of his father. It was an iPad given by a USA client for software testing.He use to watch videos of Ramdas Padhey a world famous Ventriloquist and Puppeteer. He was also keen on listening videos of famous humour artist HasyaSamrat Shri Deepak Deshpande.With repeated watching such videos, at the age of 4 years he started speaking without moving lips, ventriloqui.When his father observed this, he made first puppet for him called Chotu Singh. Later he developed puppet like a book, a cake, a dynasoure, Tatya vinchu, Sonuli a girl child, Narendra Modiji puppet etc. His first public show was at age of 5 years at Sahastrajun Ganesh Mandal, Mangalwar peth, Solapur. He shows magic Tricks, Peppetry, Powada, Mimicry and Play Acts. He won state level prize in elucation competition for Swacha Abhiyan at the of 6 years. He won district level first prize for his Act Bhondu Baba. He presents Mimicry scripted by Shri Deepak Deshpande, Hallo Tai and few other.

First international interview

An interview with Indian puppeteer Soham Yemul will be aired on TNC, Philippines. This will be Soham`s first international interview. Soham is studying in class IV at Shri M. F. Damani Primary School Solapur. He has been performing this art since the age of five.Along with Soham, three other child pupeeteers will be interviewed in the program. Elijah of the Philippines: Lunaria, Nichapa Jitthavonkul of Thailand and Ta Juan Dui of Vietnam. World-class Puppeteer Van Lu of the Philippines will be the host.The main sponsors of the event are The Manila Times, Step Back, PAPS and PALP, Presentation Puzzle Box, BPO Incorporated, Philippines. The event will be available on TNC`s YouTube and Facebook Live.

5 June 2020 Soham Yemul, (India`s youngest puppetry ventriloquist and string puppeteer) Solapur, India has won 2nd prize in an international competition, NeverSuchInnocence, London Covid-19 Response India Fights against covid-19- a short film made by Soham Yemul, (India`s youngest puppetry ventriloquist and string puppeteer) Solapur, India has won 2nd prize in an international competition, NeverSuchInnocence, London Covid-19 Response. The competition was held in Nov 19/April 20 had participants of over 44 countries worldwide about 4000 participants. The competition was to express against this pandemic situation through art, poem, speech section of 9-11 years age group and so forth. Soham in his art response made 8 min short film video using his string puppet chotu, a ventriloquist puppet of Modiji and corona virus puppet. He showed his daily routine before and after Corona in India.He started his short film with string puppet chotu by showing his daily routine. Unexpectedly because of Corona Virus, Prime Minister Narendra Modiji announced Lockdown. He used his ventriloquist puppet of Modiji for announcement. He then shows how changes took place in his life because of corona virus. But at the end, he has a positive good feeling that he is safe & living good in this epidemic situation. His short-film was recorded by his parents Sonali & Sham. In the short movie, they have shown Soham`s life before and after the Covid 19 pandemic. India with its billion plus population had fight with Covid 19 with an announcement of lockdown by their Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
